BIG Music Sale, Music at the Organ and Dinner
Monday, September 17, 2012
4-9 pm Music Sale
6:30 pm Carry-in Dinner
Fairview Ev. Lutheran Church
3315 Martel Dr, Dayton 45420
Host: Tom Pulsifer

We all look for ‘new’ music!  This is new/used music you might find for a song in our fabulous sale!  Come early,  and try out pieces on the Faith pipe organ before or after dinner. It’s an evening to visit and find THE piece you’ve been looking for. Covered dishes you bring begin our year.

TO REALLY DRAW YOU to our first meeting, which is always a carry-in potluck, we are holding a huge MUSIC SALE, from 4 to 9 pm, Monday, September 17, at Faith Lutheran Church, in east Dayton. We have recently been given the music libraries of four organists who were former members of our AGO chapter, including our former dean, Kevin Rose. There is an amazing selection of music for everyone – simple beginning pieces, anthologies, master’s degree level recital music, Christmas and Easter selections, a complete set of the works of J. S. Bach from the library of Connie Klarer, another former dean, and also a large single-copy collection of anthems, many vocal solo and duet pieces, oratorios, songbooks, piano solos and anthologies, both classical and popular… Got the picture? This is a music sale not to miss. You will have five hours to browse, which should work well with any busy schedule, even if you can’t make the dinnertime. You will find something you will want, even if you already have a fine library. Spread the word – to other organists, church pianists, students. Build your library or find a new gem for pennies on the dollar. This is as close as your dean will ever get to selling carpet, but “I just love to sell music.”
